W. Ellington Felton
W.Ellington Felton has long been described as a renaissance man and a
ranter of his own thoughts, but if you talk to him or see him perform, it may all
make sense. He is a DC native and son of jazz pianist Hilton C. Felton Jr., and
heavily influenced by his surroundings.
He has performed and taught with Arena Stage’s Living Stage Theatre Company, and co-founded the hip-hop soul group The Crossrhodes with Raheem DeVaughn. Felton’s musical and theatrical collaborations include icons like Common, Chris Rock, Meshell N’Degeocello, and Dave Chappelle.
A dedicated single father and DC resident, he shares his talents through oratory workshops at Ford’s Theatre and continues to create across mediums. His acting credits include the film Love Dot Com (Prime Video), The Empty Walls, and a recurring role in Season 2 of Hush on ALLBLK. Felton remains a compelling voice, blending truth, artistry, and advocacy.
